3/11/2014 ‘(Bop Til Ya) Sweat!’ & 10/11/2014 ‘All You Need Is Not Love’ tracklists

Just a pair of live sonic excursions on The Kitchen Sink this month, which at least gives me time to finally get the track listings up to date!
First up, was a collection of dangerously infectious tracks, the kind which might have the zombies in The Cramps classic doing more than just wiggling their ears and tapping their toes!

11)BENGA – PLEASURE /from ‘Diary Of An Afro Warrior’/ Tempa Records 2008

That track by Croydon producer Benga brought what was hopefully a 60-minute pleasure to any listeners to a close.
The following Monday saw a focus on Japanese noise and experimental music. Due to their length, their were only half a dozen pieces, but they were epics……

Even keeping my spiel to a minimum, those six tracks couldn’t be contained in an hour, but it was close. Thanks are due to Hoppy Kamiyama, who, after playing at Brno club Sklenena Louka a few years ago, kindly sent me a package containing several of his very diverse works – much-appreciated!
Til next time, wishing anyone reading this many a sonic joy, S.
