The Kitchen Sink ‘2016 Retro’ tracklists

Though there has been a powdering of snow in the mountains and the possibility of more remains, Easter Eggs have already been eaten and, in the villages, boys have put or thrown away their willow switches for another year, having indulged in the traditional whipping of girls, a tradition it seems likely was introduced by men in a time when men made all the rules (not sure why Trump’s troupe of rich elderly males debating anti-abortion legislation comes to mind here, but…), and I sit amidst piles of Cds, a sign that track listings have still to be typed up, including those for a trio of programmes featuring sonic highlights from last year! The length of the previous sentence is testimony to the amount of time I’ve spent here in the Czech Republic proofreading academic texts; perhaps it’s time to re-read some Hemingway or Carver….

Wishing anyone perusing this many a sonic wonder, S.
